highly recommend SUP cruising in the early morning
hours.The crystal clear water, the deep green of the
peninsula, the sense of oneness with the vast Lake
Kussharo shoreline, and the dynamic feeling of exploring
the cove in a single boat will be etched in your memory as
the best adventure experience you can rarely have.

After SUP, enjoy a special BBQ experience for lunch at a
campsite along the lakeside.Our special tour menu offers
a premium BBQ experience in a glamping style, with all

After a full day of lakeside activities, the best experience is

In this meticulously designed private sauna, you can enjoy
the soothing aroma of the forest, a hot spring water
solarium, enter a meditative state in the dark room sauna
with only the light of the fire to watch, and be completely
prepared in a tub filled with cold water.

Kawayu Onsen has a reputation as one of the best hot
springs in Hokkaido.The luxury Ryokan Suikazura combines
a Japanese atmosphere with a modern interior, offering a

On the second night, you will enjoy a private room Kaiseki
meal carefully prepared by the chef of a long-established
Ryokan based on locally produced and consumed
ingredients. If you wish, we can also prepare a crab-
inspired set meal made with fresh crab imported from a
local seafood processing company.

sumptuous Kaiseki cuisine woven in the blessed culinary
treasure trove of Eastern Hokkaido.

After dinner, we invite you to enjoy the tranquility of the
illuminated walking path along the Onsen River that flows
nearby. The beautiful walking path and illumination of the
river where Kawayu Onsen's famous hot spring water flows
will add color to the river, allowing you to enjoy the
elegant space and time in the far north, a different
atmosphere from the hot spring resort areas on the main
island of Honshu.

On your last day, wake up a little early in the morning to
experience one of the must-do activities when you come
to this area. The Kushiro River is a single river that flows
from the vast Lake Kussharo, travels quietly and leisurely
far, passes through the Kushiro Marshlands, and flows into
the Pacific Ocean. A water journey from Lake Kussharo to
a canoe and down the headwaters of the Kushiro River is
the quintessential nature experience.Untouched by
human hands, the bounty of water and forests is a
paradise for diverse birds, animals, fish, and plants, and
you will encounter the genuine beauty of nature that we
cannot usually see.

After canoeing, enjoy a warm breakfast that will soak into
your body.Take a moment thinking of the encounters you
have made so far and reflect on this journey.

If you have a little extra time and energy on the last day,
we recommend trekking on the outer rim of Lake Mashu
with its deep blue color, or the 2-3 hour trekking route
from Kawayu Onsen to Ioh-zan (Mt. Ioh-zan), which takes
you through a forest of Japanese red pine trees and
azalea fields. We recommend activities that allow you to
take your time and experience the richness of nature on
foot.If you prefer a relaxing coffee break with a view of the
forest over an activity, enjoy the quiet time at the Chip
Hop Cafe on the second floor of the Kawayu Visitor Center.

The journey to regain a rich heart in the great outdoors
finally comes to an end roll.Enjoy the afterglow of the final
scene at Bihoro Pass, where you can stop on the way to
Memanbetsu Airport. Finish the view from Bihoro Pass of
the overwhelming grandeur of Lake Kussharo, which was
completely unnoticeable when viewed from along the
lakeside, and look back on a truly worthwhile time that will
be etched in your mind.
